Cocktail & Cupcake Pairing Class

Are you looking for an exciting addition to your next event, or are you and a group of your friends, or clients, curiously interested in the art of making cocktails?

We can certainly help with that.

One of our favorite things to do is to create a cocktail and cupcake pairing where you can enjoy the original cocktail right next to its baked good counterpart; experience all of the flavors

balance with each bite and each sip.

Cocktail Class

Are you looking for an exciting addition to your next event, or are you and a group of your friends, or clients, curiously interested in the art of making cocktails?

We can certainly help with that.

One of the things we love to do is to teach others the history, processes, and flavor balances of cocktails. From a classic Manhattan, to a modern Gordon’s Breakfast, we’ll teach you how to make the cocktail, you’ll have a chance to make the cocktail yourself, and then the best part, you can sit and enjoy the cocktail you just crafted.

Whisk(e)y Class

Whisk(e)y has always been known as the "water of life".

How did it become so?

The word stems from the Gaelic phrase "uisge beatha" and after the corruption of the English language, the word "whisky" was born.

For the love of Whisk(e)y and the curiosity you have and the knowledge you seek, please join Courtney McKamey, TCP Owner and Whisk(e)y Aficionado, for various classes on the subject.

Classes start as Intermediate, from "Exploring Scotland", "Discovering Japan", to "The Battle of Rye vs. Bourbon". Advanced classes are also available, from "Where There's Smoke, There's Islay", "Rare and Old", to "What's Your Mash Bill?"

Wine Class

Wine seems easy enough to understand. It's just grapes, right?

Right!

However, there are so many variances within wine.

Whether you feel insecure about your knowledge, or know the basics and want to explore, we can certainly guide you along the way.

One of the things we love to do is to teach others the history, processes, and flavor profiles of wine using modern inclusive language so that it's easy for everyone to follow-- you certainly don't have to have any sommelier training. We’ll talk with you on how to smell, swirl, and sip a glass of wine, how to determine your personal palate, how to choose the right wine for you from a menu, how to distinguish different wines made from the same grape, and then the best part, enjoy several pours of great wine.
